Is Axiom legit?
Axiom is a real, working trading platform at axiom.trade, with public documents. Those documents say it is funded by Y Combinator, the startup accelerator, and link to its listing there. This guide's own tests show the site, its Sign up box and its referral link behave the way those documents describe. That makes it a real business. It does not make trading on it safe, which depends far more on what you buy.
Who controls the money in an Axiom account?
Axiom's FAQ says it uses non-custodial infrastructure, secure key management and encryption, with Turnkey as wallet partner, and that the assets you hold stay in your control. At sign-up Axiom shows you a recovery phrase, which you can view again in settings. Its sign-up page suggests importing that phrase into a standard wallet such as Phantom, Rabby or Solflare, so you always have direct access to your funds. The other side of non-custodial: anyone who gets your recovery phrase can move everything, and onchain transfers generally cannot be reversed.
Has anyone checked Axiom's security?
Not this guide. It has no access to Axiom's code, servers or wallet set-up, so it cannot test the FAQ's security claims, and it has not created an account. Axiom points readers to Turnkey for details of its wallet infrastructure. Read the claims as Axiom's description of itself, and size your deposit with that in mind.
What are the biggest risks on Axiom?
The tokens. Pulse, Axiom's main token list, shows tokens that are minutes old. Its own filters exist to flag developer holdings, snipers, insiders and bundled buys, and Axiom describes the insiders filter as a way to spot possible pump-and-dump risk. On perpetuals, Axiom's deposit page allows up to 50x leverage and warns that many traders lose everything by overleveraging.
What scams target Axiom users?
Axiom's support page warns that scammers in trading servers pose as support staff and offer help by direct message. Its advice is to ignore those messages and use private tickets only. Other traps: lookalike web addresses, people selling referral codes, anyone asking for your recovery phrase, and any phone app that claims to be Axiom, since Axiom's site links to no store app.
Can I get money back if something goes wrong?
Usually not. Trades and transfers happen onchain, where they generally cannot be reversed. Axiom's support works through tickets on its Discord server. This guide cannot see or help with anyone's account.
Does Axiom ask for ID?
Axiom's sign-up guide lists email, Google or Phantom, a one-time code for email, a password and a recovery phrase. It shows no ID step. Its FAQ says its Coinbase option lets you buy up to $500 of crypto a week without KYC. This guide has not checked what happens above that.
Is the join10 referral link safe to open?
It only opens Axiom's own site, axiom.trade, and saves the code in your browser for about 60 minutes. In this guide's empty-browser tests it asked for nothing and showed Axiom's normal home page. It is free. The referral link page shows the test.
What Axiom says, and what could be checked
Each claim below is Axiom's own, with the page it is on and what an outsider can test.
| What Axiom says | Where | What this guide could check |
|---|---|---|
| Wallets are non-custodial, and the assets stay in your control | FAQ | Not testable without an account. The recovery phrase step is in Axiom's sign-up guide. |
| Keys are handled with secure key management and encryption, with Turnkey as partner | FAQ | Not testable from outside. |
| Axiom is funded by Y Combinator | Y Combinator page | Axiom's page links to its Y Combinator listing. This guide did not look further. |
| Help only comes through tickets on its Discord server | Support page | Nothing to test. It tells you whom to ignore. |
| New accounts made through a referral link get 10% off trading fees | Referral page | Empty-browser tests: the code reaches the Sign up box. The discount itself needs a real account. |
This page uses only Axiom's own documents and this guide's tests, read on 2 November 2026. It does not repeat outside reviews.
Trading settings Axiom itself recommends
Axiom's Solana fees page explains sandwich attacks, where a bot buys just before you and sells just after. It offers three MEV modes, Off, Reduced and Secure, and recommends Secure where you can use it, though it can be slower. It also says to keep slippage low when MEV protection is off. Its own example of a 1000% slippage limit means accepting a 10x price move, which is rarely what a new trader wants.
Axiom's bundle checker flags four or more buys in the same block, and Axiom says plainly that no detection method catches every bundle. Filters help; they do not make a token safe.
Keeping the account itself safe
Axiom lets you view your recovery phrase again in its settings. That makes your Axiom login part of your wallet's protection, so treat it as carefully as the phrase itself. Use a strong password you use nowhere else, and do not stay signed in on a shared computer.
Axiom's multi-wallet page makes a further point: spreading tokens across several wallets means a problem with one address leaves the others untouched. It is a reason not to keep everything in one place, on Axiom or anywhere else.
Leverage in plain numbers
At 50x, the most Axiom's perpetuals page allows, a price move of about 2% against you is enough to wipe out the money you put up, and liquidation can come before that. At 10x it takes a move of about 10%. New tokens can move that far in minutes, which is why Axiom's own page warns about overleveraging.
A checklist before you sign up
- Type axiom.trade yourself, or use a link you can read in full. Check the address bar before you sign up.
- Write the recovery phrase on paper, offline. Never type it into a chat, a form or a support message.
- Think about importing it into a separate wallet such as Phantom, as Axiom's sign-up page suggests.
- On Discord, turn off direct messages from server members. Axiom's support page shows how.
- Set MEV protection to Secure where you can, and keep slippage low.
- Start with an amount you could lose completely. New tokens and leverage can both go to zero.
- Read the fee line on your first trade.
- Never pay anyone for a referral code.
If you decide to join
The code changes the fee, not the risk. Open https://axiom.trade/@join10 on the device you will sign up on, click Sign up, and the email form's Invite code (optional) box shows join10. Finish within about an hour. Everything above still applies. For what Axiom does day to day, see what Axiom is; for every fee, the Axiom fees page.
How this page was put together
From Axiom's FAQ, sign-up, support, Solana fees, perpetuals, Pulse, multi-wallet and Y Combinator pages, read 2 November 2026, and this guide's own empty-browser tests. No account was created and nothing was deposited. This is not financial advice.
